Gallery Development Appeal
The Army Museum of Western Australia sees its role as preserving and passing on to future generations our military cultural heritage relating to the service of Western Australian men and women in the Australian Army both during peace time and war. The museum is "custodian of their memories".
In preserving the above heritage, the collection, conserving and displaying objects relating to various aspects of army service is central to the museum's activities. Until the museum's expansion to occupy other parts of the main building within the historic site at Artillery Barracks, we have not had sufficient space to completely display these objects and tell their stories.
The Army Museum of Western Australia Foundation assists in the operation of the museum and is a registered charity. Donations over $2 are tax-deductible and go to support the museum.
